On his new oyayubizoku blog, Jason Fields posts on the Zen-like nature of Clip-n-Seal. Well, philosophy didn't exactly enter the design process, but we appreciate Jason's design props just the same. Minimalism, yes, we hadn't thought of the design in Zen terms. On the subject of minimalism, "why no hinge" comes up frequently and our response is that, "hinges break." There's nothing to break on a Clip-n-Seal, nothing to keep you from fresh food. There is depth to the simplicity, much more than we often talk about. We'll show more of that, as we announce our industrial customers.
